How the Marketplace Works
Discover Sellers, send partnership requests and track their status.
The Marketplace is where Buyers discover loyalty programs and where Sellers receive partnership requests. It is the starting point of every partnership on PEI.
This article explains:
- What you see in the Marketplace
- What a partnership request contains
- What happens after you send it
- What each status means
1. What You See
Buyers see all approved Sellers that have chosen to be listed. Each Seller profile shows:
- Program description, logo and regions
- Supported capabilities (Earn, Spend, Convert)
- Transaction limits per transaction
- The information the Seller needs about your customers (e.g. account number format)
- The Seller's partnership requirements, agreements and questions
2. Sending a Partnership Request
- Open the Seller profile and click Request Partnership.
- Select the capabilities you want to use.
- Accept the Seller's agreements.
- Answer the Seller's questions.
- Click Send Request.
The Seller is notified and reviews your company profile and answers.
3. Partnership Statuses
- Pending – sent, awaiting the Seller's decision
- Active – approved; you can select a package, access Partner Resources and start transacting
- Declined – the Seller declined; the reason is shown in your dashboard
- Suspended – temporarily paused; transactions are on hold
- Terminated – ended permanently
Approval activates the partnership immediately. To start rewarding customers you then select a package (see How Packages Work).
4. If Your Request Is Declined
Review the reason shown in the dashboard. If you believe the decision was based on incomplete information, contact support and we will help you follow up. See My Partnership Request Was Declined.
