Data Residency
Choose where your transaction data is stored.
Buyers choose during company setup where their transaction data is stored. This setting is called data residency.
1. What It Covers
The region you choose determines where PEI stores your partnerships, transactions and the end-customer data attached to them. Your company profile and login details are managed centrally.
2. Available Regions
You can currently choose between Europe and USA. Choose the region that matches your regulatory requirements and where most of your customers are located. If neither matches your jurisdiction exactly, Europe is the recommended default.
3. Changing the Region
The region is fixed once your company is created, because your data is stored there from the first transaction. If you need to change it, contact support before you start transacting.
4. Sellers
Sellers do not choose a region. Their program data is available to Buyers in every region.
